Summary
his one-day course is to allow the healthcare provider who has previously been successful in an ACLS course (within the last two years) to refresh and update knowledge required to quickly recognize those patients at risk for cardio-respiratory emergencies and to intervene appropriately. This course provides participants with the opportunity to achieve greater understanding of the ACLS core content and to practice resuscitative skills within case based scenarios.

Prerequisites
Prerequisites: ACLS Provider within the last two years. Current Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada - Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider card. Current registration as a healthcare professional including physicians, paramedics, nurses, respiratory therapists, dentists and military levels QL5 and above.
